Objective:

- To enthuse a level of comfort for doing this with your students (Beth)
- Provide links to how to make a PBwiki and tutorials on how to: (Cheryl)
- ONLINE continuing support through____ ustream archive; email, wiki ( Cheryl )
This is portable, you can access anywhere, these tools you can take further on, job skill .
Intro one tool a week with a writing project, until the kids have it in a writing activity, they are already working on, embed a tool.
Specifically, graphic organizer, used basic, 7th grade, highlight nouns, copy and paste paragraph from visual thesaurus.
Draft by draft piece, 8th grade 3rd draft. (Beth)
Oh, and awe, bring it to the kids as a nugget, and not get overwhelming. (Cheryl)

WIKI, talk about what it is and how to use it.
Break down and add things one at time:
using firefox:
Outline of tools: Step by Step;
- Brainstorm with Wordle with words from their books.
- Graphic Organizer- chosen by teacher, prompt- and a paragraph,
- Paragraph- tool 2, Ghotit-spellchecker......, turn spell checker off in Firefox,
- Highlighting nouns, copy paragraph, using Visual Thesaurus, different words for the nouns, and adjectives.
- NOT online, adjectives from their literature and paper/pencil drafts on laptops, adding ideas into it. (kids are learning that what they thought would be done first try, still working and revising, reading and writing connections,
